AP Claims Specialist

Job Description:

  • File claims for stores with the assistance of Airtable
    • Short receipts are filed and resolved with the Vendor, within Vendor terms ensuring the Store and Store Services minimizes loss.
    • Damage and lost claims are filed and documented with either the Freight Carrier or the Vendor.
  • Determining if replacements are sent and ensuring correct receipts are made and accounted for correctly to minimize loss.
    • Facilitate repairs on damages when warranted.
    • Keep up with Vendor and Freight Carrier policies and terms to ensure successful claim resolutions.
    • Follow up on claims until resolution is reached and notify store of resolution
    • Assist and keep track of Stores filing claims with EES Vendors  

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Results oriented with demonstrated ability to follow through, make informed decisions that comply with policies and procedures, complete tasks and problem-solve. Demonstrated attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
